Inspired by the spirit that led the Danish brothers to found GripGrab, United Ride is a global invitation to ride, solo or with friends, in silence or with laughter. This year, as GripGrab celebrates 25 years of passion, people, and pedals, we ride to honour the feeling that started it all – the simple joy of moving together.
On June 19, we ride as one, across borders, bikes, and backgrounds.

Joining is free, easy, and open to everyone. There’s no set location, you choose your route, your pace, and your riding crew. On June 19, we all roll out together in spirit, no matter where we are.

As kids we raced each other through forests, pushed past the limits our parents set, and rode into the unknown. We didn’t know it then, but we were living passion in its purest form. Every ride was an adventure – a secret mission, a friendly race, a boundary pushed. Today we’re celebrating 25 years of that same spirit. A quarter of a century of shared rides, hard efforts, early mornings, and big dreams.

For the United Ride, I will do a 70 km gravel route in the western area of Madrid. I'll depart from El Escorial and will arrive in Colmenar del Arrollo, then head back home. I will discover new trails and enjoy the route.

I’ll be taking the long route to work and back for the United Ride. It’s a 50 km round trip on my road bike through country lanes and I hope I’ll be greeted with a glorious sunrise before a day of teaching.

It is going to be an iconic route for the United Ride 2025 summer edition. Once a year you must have cycled ´Rondje Markermeer´. The 150km route follows the shores of the former Zuiderzee.
