The AquaShield Neoprene Raceday Gloves are built for performance road and gravel riders who need warmth, flexibility, and secure grip in cool, wet conditions. High-stretch neoprene provides a close, flexible fit that supports handlebar control when the weather turns wet.

Rather than aiming to keep the hand completely dry, the glove is designed to help the hand stay warmer in wet conditions. This makes it well suited to cool, wet race days and high-intensity training, where wet-condition warmth, dexterity, and control matter more than heavy insulation.

The extended cuff is designed to fit closely over the sleeve of a rain jacket, helping create a more secure transition between glove and jacket in wet conditions. A touchscreen-compatible thumb allows use of cycling computers and smartphones without removing the gloves.

Q&A

Will my hands stay dry in these gloves?
Not completely. In prolonged wet conditions, your hands will eventually get wet, but neoprene helps retain warmth even when wet. The glove is designed for wet-weather warmth and control rather than complete waterproofing.

How does the fit compare with a waterproof winter glove?
The fit is very close and flexible. Because the glove uses highly stretchable neoprene rather than a waterproof membrane with additional seams and layers, it can sit closely around the hand and maintain excellent bar feel.

What temperatures are they suitable for?
They are designed for cool, wet conditions, but the exact temperature range varies from rider to rider depending on intensity, weather, clothing, and individual sensitivity to cold.

What exactly is neoprene?
Neoprene is a closed cell foam, where pockets of air are trapped inside the rubber bubbles. No water or air can get in or out. This is why it is waterproof.

Do they provide good grip in wet conditions?
Yes. Silicone print on the palm provides secure grip in both wet and dry conditions, helping maintain confident control of the handlebar and controls.

Should the cuff go over or under a jacket sleeve?
Both are possible. The close-fitting cuff makes it easy to pull a rain jacket sleeve over the glove, while the stretch also allows the cuff to sit over a close-fitting jersey sleeve or AquaRepel arm sleeve if preferred.
