The GripGrab PACR Waterproof Lightweight Jacket is your featherweight shield against the elements: it packs up small enough to be stashed in a jersey pocket, but it offers you a complete shield against wind and rain.

Made from a lightweight fully waterproof fabric – highly rated at 10K (10,000mm) for waterproofness and 40K (40,000 g/m²/24h) for breathability, this jacket offers complete protection against downpours and spray, while still allowing perspiration and condensation to escape from within.

Close-fitting cuffs, an elasticated rear hem with silicone gripper and a high-cut mesh-lined collar are comfortable against the skin but help seal out downpours and spray. A waterproof two-way YKK® Vislon AquaGuard zip allows you to regulate airflow through your layers, while also allowing access to jersey pockets beneath without needing to take the jacket off.

Poor weather conditions also often mean poor visibility, so reflective details have been added to the back and sleeves of the jacket to enhance your road presence in low light conditions.

Q&A

Does the PACR rain jacket have any pockets?
No, it does not have any pockets to keep it as lightweight and packable as possible. You can easily access your jersey pockets thanks to the 2-way-zip.

Does it fit in a jersey pocket?
Yes, it packs up small enough to be stashed in a jersey pocket. Please do not keep it folded after your ride. Unpack and hang it over a coat hanger. Keeping it folded for an extended period of time is not beneficial for the fabric.

How thick is this rain jacket? Does it have an insulating liner?
The PACR rain jacket is designed to be as thin, lightweight and packable as possible, without compromising durability and longevity. It is not lined on the inside. This rain jacket does not substitute a winter jacket on cold days.

Für kleinere und schlanke Herren - wasserfest und angenehm zu tragen

Im Lieferumfang bekommt man eine dünne und leichte Fahrrad Regenjacke von GripGrap. Die Jacke fällt meiner Einschätzung nach eher klein aus und hat einen typischen Herrenschnitt. Ich trage Damengrösse 40/42 oder L und habe hier bei dieser Herrenjacke die Grösse XL ausgewählt. Ich kann sie gut tragen, wobei sie an der Hüfte etwas weiter sein dürfte. Die Länge ist ebenfalls für mich etwas knapp. Das Material finde ich sehr gut und angenehm. Die Jacke hat mich bei strömendem Regen absolut trocken gehalten. Die Nähte sind überall gut versiegelt und der 2 Wege Reissverschluss ist mit Stoff hinterlegt, so dass auch dort kein Wasser eintreten kann. Was ich an dieser Jacke aber sehr vermisse sind Taschen. Die Armlänge passt sehr gut und der elastische Abschluss mit dem verlängerten Teil oben gibt guten Witterungsschutz am Handgelenk. Am leicht verlängerten Rückenteil gibt es ein 3cm breites, elastisches Gummiband, das guten Halt bietet. Für bessere Sichtbarkeit gibt es an den beiden Ärmeln reflektierende Streifen. Auf der Vorder- sowie der Rückseite befinden sich zu diesem Zweck die Logos von GripGrap. Die Innenseite des Kragens besitzt ein dünnes und leichtes Futter. Für eine Radtour lässt sich die Jacke sehr gut und klein zusammenrollen und passt ohne Probleme in die Rückentasche beim Fahrrad Shirt.Da ich Herrengrössen schlecht einschätzen kann, biete ich hier die Kleidermasse einfach und flach hingelegt bei der Jacke in Grösse XL: einfache Brustweite 59cm, Schulterbreite 48cm, Hüftweite 49cm, Länge ab Schulter ohne Kragen vorne 62cm / hinten 68cm, Armlänge ab Schulter 73cm / ab Kragenansatz 87cm, Reissverschluss 58cm.Von mir gibt es 4 Sterne. Den Preis von knapp 180EUR finde ich persönlich zu hoch
