The AquaShield Waterproof Winter Road Shoe Covers are built for road cyclists who keep riding when winter roads are cold, wet, and covered in spray. The extra-high cut is a key part of the protection: it reaches high up the lower leg to improve overlap with winter tights or leg warmers, helping shield the ankle, lower leg, and shoe opening from rain, road spray, and cold wind. This makes the shoe cover better suited to harsh wet-weather riding than a lower-cut shoe cover.
Coated 3 mm bio-based neoprene provides flexible insulation and helps resist water from rain and spray. Waterproofed seams reduce water ingress through stitch lines. IntelliSeal™ technology reinforces the lower edge, a critical area where grit, grime, road spray, and repeated ground contact put shoe covers under constant stress.
The design is built for repeated winter use. An anti-abrasion tread pad adds a tough layer under the sole for repeated ground contact, while crank-rub protection helps guard the inner panels from repeated contact with the crank arm. Reflective details help increase visibility in low-light winter conditions.
