Q&A
How does the RIDE Waterproof Lightweight Jacket differ from the PACR rain jacket? The RIDE jacket uses a more relaxed Active Fit with extra room for layering and everyday comfort. The PACR rain jacket has a closer, more race-focused fit for riders who prefer a streamlined performance cut. Can I wear layers underneath it? Yes. The Active Fit leaves room for additional layers underneath, making it suitable for changing conditions and colder wet-weather rides. Is the jacket packable? Yes. It can be packed into a jersey pocket, while still being substantial enough to wear from the start of the ride until the finish. If maximum packability is the priority, the PACR Emergency Jacket is the more compact option. What is the benefit of the 2-way zipper? The 2-way zipper gives you more control over ventilation and makes it easier to access jersey pockets underneath without fully opening the jacket. Can I use it for a full ride in the rain? Yes. It is designed as a proper lightweight rain jacket rather than just an emergency shell, so it works well for rides where you expect to wear it for long periods. What is the difference between Black and Hi-Vis Yellow? There is no difference in waterproof protection, fit, or performance. The Hi-Vis Yellow version is designed to increase visibility in traffic and low-light conditions.
