Wear Tip

When your ride comes to an end, hang your socks to dry, don’t just throw them in the washing machine after every ride. Merino wool is also naturally anti-microbial – it has properties that prevent the growth of odour-causing bacteria. This increases the number of times your merino cycling socks can be worn before they need to be washed.

FAQ

Will they keep my feet dry?
Yes. These socks are made from a knitted fabric with a 100% waterproof membrane to keep your feet nice and dry.

How should I wear them to get the best performance?
To help reduce water seeping in through the top of your socks we recommend you wear your water-resistant leg warmers or cycling bib tights over the top of the cuff of the socks. Following this tip will ensure you get the best performance from this product.

What are the benefits of merino wool and how much merino wool is used for these socks?
Merino wool has a comfortable, soft feel on the skin and is good at regulating temperature. The lining of these socks is made with 42% mulesing-free merino wool. Combined with synthetic fibres, the socks are highly durable and long lasting.

How thick are these socks? Will I still fit in my cycling shoes? And can I wear them on my skin?
Yes, you can wear them directly on your skin, thanks to the soft merino liner. They are noticeably thicker than summer socks, so it's best to try on your shoes with 2 pairs of socks first to test if it fits.

Should I wear these socks together with overshoes?
We do not recommend wearing these waterproof socks together with windproof shoe covers, as it will impact breathability. If you want to keep your shoes clean, you can wear cover socks over your shoes.
